Did you know many of our locally native wildflower seeds actually need winter weather to break dormancy and germinate in the spring? Join us next week for a discussion on three ways to cold-stratify your seeds - and take some home with you to try it out!
Several Wild Ones Cheq Bay members have collected seeds to share with the group. If you have extras, feel free to bring yours too! You could also bring tiny baggies or envelopes, or even scrap paper to fold into seed packets, but we will have envelopes available, too.
This event is free and open to the public, but registration will help us plan.
